The cottage was right in the centre of Conwy so we didn't use the car very much. The cottage had everything which we needed for our stay. The pubs and restaurants were great. We ate at Dylans which I would recommend, and tried the sausage rolls from Edwards. We went for an evening drink in the Liverpool arms which is right by the marina. Also, visited the smallest house in Britain and Conwy castle. On Saturday we did the walk to Aber falls which tired us out. We were too exhausted to go out for food that evening, so we opted for fish and chips from the fisherman's chippy.

Nothing. If I had to be very picky, it is a tight squeeze to park with a bigger car. However, we managed, and we had been pre warned.

Lovely well kept cottage. Had everything we needed, was well thought out and good location.

Parking was not really suitable for our largish car. Had to ask a neighbour to move his car so that we could get out of the street. Ended up putting the car on a car park and then overnight in a different street.

The cottage was clean and in a great location.

The front and back doors were both very stiff and difficult to open. On several occasions, we struggled for an extended period to open the back door so we could let the dogs outside. I texted the owner to mention that the lock appeared to need some WD-40 (or possibly a replacement mechanism?). The owner replied, saying they would get onto it and explained that the door can swell during hot weather. It was particularly warm during our stay, so this may have contributed to the problem. However, after reading the guest book and previous reviews, it appears this has been an ongoing issue that has not been resolved. There were three of us staying at the cottage, and only one person was able to open the back door due to the amount of strength required. Even then, it sometimes took up to 20 minutes to get the door open. This became frustrating and stressful, particularly when we needed to let the dogs outside. It also poses a significant fire safety risk, as it would make it difficult to evacuate the cottage quickly in the event of an emergency.
