The house itself was nice, and I genuinely liked the place. However, I was very disappointed with the management and how they handled things. I made my booking through Booking.com, but a few days before check-in, the management contacted me personally and asked me to cancel my booking on Booking.com and make a direct payment to them instead. I was not comfortable with this arrangement, so I decided to proceed with my original booking through Booking.com. The biggest issue came when I requested a full official invoice for the total amount I had paid. The management refused to provide an invoice reflecting the full amount, claiming that they could only issue an invoice for the amount they received after Booking.com’s commission. I contacted Booking.com regarding this issue, and they clarified that the invoice should be issued by the property and reflect the full amount paid. Unfortunately, despite this clarification and my follow-ups, I have still not received a revised invoice reflecting the actual amount I paid. Honestly, this is not my concern as a customer. I paid the full amount through Booking.com, and I need an official invoice reflecting my total payment for claim purposes. It should not be this difficult to obtain proper documentation after completing a stay. I have been waiting patiently, but the lack of updates and resolution is extremely frustrating. It’s such a shame because I liked the house, but the poor management, lack of proper customer service, and difficulty in resolving a simple invoice issue really affected my overall experience. Nice property, but very disappointing management. I hope they improve their professionalism and customer service, especially when handling guests’ requests and payment documentation.
