Loch Eyre House is a charming and private bed & breakfast. The fact that it's 7 miles from the traffic of Portree is a big plus-- at Loch Eyre House you have quiet and a beautiful view of Loch Eyre. The guest lounge is a comfortable place to read or play cards if the weather isn't great. Our room had everything we needed, plus a balcony porch with table and chairs. David & Lynn are great communicators who give wonderful advice and make delicious breakfasts. We enjoyed our 4-night stay so much, and we're very glad we chose Loch Eyre House for our base for exploring Skye!

Less than 15 minute drive into Portree if you don’t want to stay inside town. Fantastic location for exploring all of Skye and the hosts were super friendly. The breakfast is wonderful as well.

Beautiful location halfway between Portree and Uig, perfect for exploring the Trotternish peninsula. The premises are spotless and in excellent condition. The hosts were very accommodating and personable. Breakfast was delicious. Note: if you do not have a car, transportation could be tricky. Nearest restaurants are 20 minutes away by vehicle. Would stay again. Highly recommend Loch Eyre House!
