Locanda Orchidea - B&B

We were welcomed by Mr Dimitri who gave us all the necessary information. The hotel is very well located, clean, good AC (a must during the heatwave). We got the breakfast for 7 euros pp and it was good. Overall, a great hotel in Florence.

The location was great, walking distance to everything you want to see. Don't bring a car, parking is a nightmare.

Quiet, clean & good location. Staff was very helpful and kind. We loved the breakfast with the beautiful view. Very helpful to store our luggage after check-out until our train departed. Lots of space in the room with a divided sitting area. Loved everything about it!

Overall a very good place…walking distance to the Duomo, Mercato Sant’Ambrogio, Santa Croce, the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia, among other attractions/landmarks. Also surrounded by a TON of good places to eat at, as well as some self-service laundromats if you ever need it. And a short walk to a couple of bus stops too, if you ever need a bus to get around. Rooms are well-maintained, really clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and filling. Most of all, really friendly owners. My only concern — and, honestly, just a small one at that — is that I could not get the safe to work even with the instructions provided, merely because the buttons on the actual safe in my room weren’t the same as in the instructions. But…again, just a small concern that doesn’t take away from my satisfaction with the B&B. Definitely coming back next time I’m in Florence.
