B&B Hotel Madrid Centro F52

Perfect stay for our night in Madrid! We loved the roof top with free refreshments and the neighborhood was very walkable to nearby stores/cafes/etc. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean room, good AC, shopping street, minutes away from a main attraction. Overall great for a short stay in Madrid.

Excellent location, within walking distance to a lot of places, restaurants, and shops. Easy to find places to eat late at night and quite safe. Visited during a heatwave in summer and their ac is mini-split so it took 2 days of it running at 19ºC full speed for it too feel comfortable. Staff was super friendly

Very convenient location for walking to many shops and bars and restaurants. Even Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts one block away Staff was young, spoke English and very helpful. Loved our location with a small balcony overlooking the street. The windows and shutters did an amazing job blocking out street noise and lights. Minor problems: not much overall good lighting. We couldn't figure out how to turn on the bedside lights--there was a switch on the bottom of the bed along with a switch on the light itself. The outlet under the bed was not adhered properly--looked like it got kicked in by someone. The remote had one battery so I had to exchange for another one. The thermostat couldn't be changed from 20 degrees. Liked the upstairs access--water and coffee. A place to sit outside of the hotel room. Nice idea since there was nothing on the first floor except the lobby desk. Overall, everyone says Madrid is easy to use public transportation. The bus routes were confusing and there was little help to take the correct one. We wouldn't even try the Metro. The taxis are available but we paid one price in one direction, then the other direction 5 euros was added to the price. Not certain why. We walked through the tent camp of the protesters and did not feel intimidated. Good to see young folks getting involved. Glad we missed the rain.
