Very nice mezonete house in Zaros. The host, Dimitris, went above and beyond to make our stay great.

let's start from the fact that I have never been to Crete and that I have never been to Greece (Hellas), a wonderful place between the mountains and the sea, for those who want to spend time in the inland of Crete this is the right place, the owner Dimitrios is a wonderful person who will satisfy all your requests, they have recently added a swimming pool and it is really beautiful to spend quiet afternoons, the cuisine is excellent and genuine and above all traditional, for those who love wines I recommend buying them directly from the owner. In short, a wonderful experience that I recommend to everyone

The unit is built to a high level of workmanship and materials. Reminds me condos I have stayed at nice Colorado ski resorts.
The owner is wonderful, and the the breakfast is terrific as well.
Zaros is a farming-orientedmarket town that has a small, but growing tourist infrastructure. A very good place to see Crete away from the beaches. Exactly what we were looking for. Good parking,no tour buses.
The only negatives are that the kitchen area is cramped, and we could only get two channels on the tv.
