Perfect for us, right location, dog friendly, spacious apartment and everything we needed was there! Owners delightful and of course the Hideaway is a few mins walk away! Parking on site and an EV charger if you need it! What more could you want!

The lady that greeted us wasn't particularly welcoming and just showed us to the door of the apartment. She didn't go in and show us around. The apartment was spacious with a good view of Shanklin through the bay window. The kitchen was fairly well equipped. The bedrooms were okay but nothing outstanding. There were some issues with the lounge area and bathroom. The first thing we noticed when we stepped into the apartment for the first time was the state of the sofa. It was a grey fabric lounging sofa but it was dirty. You could see it was stained and the engrained dirt was very visible. Make no wonder the host didn't show us around, probably embarrassed. There was also a shackletons type chair which was also very worn. Threadbare on the chair arms. The bathroom had some real issues. Firstly, the shower itself, had no pressure whatsoever. The shower rose was on a fixed mounting so you couldn't direct it but even if you could, the water pressure was so bad that the water just trickled down the wall. Even if you hand held the shower hose, there was not enough power to have a proper shower. We found this very frustrating. The bathroom was quite large but there were no shelving whatsoever so nowhere to put your soap, shampoo, hair brushes, shavers etc etc. We had to balance our tooth brushes and toothpaste on a very narrow window ledge. Come on hosts, spend some money on the place. Spend a night in the apartment yourselves. It was very tired which spoilt it for us unfortunately.

We had a ground floor flat, parking was easy, dogs were accepted, and the flat was fully equipt if you wanted to self cater. There was a little bit of outside space which was enclosed and good for the dog. There were places to eat a short walk away, and a footpath to the beach

The owners were excellent in communicating, kitchen well stocked Only complaint was the bed was not as comfortable as we like Also if you are travelling around on the bus I would suggest staying in newport much more central for bus as you have to change at newport for the other side of the island

Great holiday stay! Clean, spacious well thought out apartment. Comfortable beds, lovely living area and kitchen with all amenities. Good parking too - thank-you for setting us up with the EV charge too, extremely helpful and handy to have. Great location - able to walk to the beach, and town, shops and takeaways nearby! Thanks for welcoming us. We had an amazing stay!
