The location was fantastic, in the town centre amongst shops and restaurants and within very easy walking distance of the Roman Arena. The historic building was very interesting and a lovely place to stay. The room was large and quiet with a separate bathroom and small seating area overlooking the central courtyard. I would certainly recommend this property location and lovely building.
The entry and key safe information was sent during the morning of our arrival day and without wifi we were unable to access it. Fortunately the lovely people at tourist information were able to help us. We thought we were booked into Un Joyau Occitan but found ourselves in The Suite instead (no lounge or kitchen), so double check this when booking!

The apartment is ideally situated right in the very heart of the city of Nîmes, making it incredibly easy to reach everything on foot and just minutes away from all of the main tourist attractions the area has to offer. Rachel was very responsive to inquiries.
The cellular and WiFi signals are rather weak, making them mostly just usable for basic connectivity, apart from that, exceptional location and space.

Great location with easy access to all that Nimes has to offer. Very clean. Beautiful historic building with loads of character. 3 flights up to what is effectively a very characterful hotel room.

You can't be more in strict centre if you tried. You're on one of the main old town streets, everything within 5-15 minutes walk. No need for taxis or public transport other than to the airport. It's in historic building with nice old features. Rachel is great host, easy to communicate with and happy to accommodate if something is needed. The fan, once we figured it out was brilliant in the heat. We really enjoyed our stay.
Some bottled water and more coffee pods and toilet paper just in case would be good. There is a WiFi extender in the room but we couldn't connect to it, so the main signal was poor. Not overall issue, as the TV streaming was working fine. There are steps to the apartment if you have heavy luggage or problems with knees that might be hard for you.
