Had to find another hotel for the night. Very poor

Property was vacant with all furniture in front garden and for sale sign outside.

Booking was confirmed and key PIN number was given to me despite being sold

Basic

The location was perfect

We asked if we could check in for 1pm we received no answer. I contacted the property to find out how we gained access to the property around 9am, the lady I spoke to said I would be sent the key code when the property was ready I was told check in was from 2pm, I did not hear from them till passed 3pm with the key safe code. When we got to the property there was broken furniture in the bedroom and something splashed up the wall, the garden was messy with garden furniture unfit to sit on, a newspaper from 2024 left on top of the fridge and no teaspoons

Could have been a much pleasant experience staying at house. Had messaged last week to check there would be cleaning pro

Size of the property and location

Bathroom was dirty, carpets not been hoovered, bed linen been put on beds all creased and with hairs on them. There were no towels supplied, tea towel or oven gloves. Had to personally go and buy cleaning products. No coffee supplied, sugar was stale. Dirty scouter left on draining board. Messaged owner and was of no help regarding towels, had to borrow some from my sister. Never got booking details of where to park and key safe code and had to ring up once we arrived at property. No hoover for us to hover up.

Comfortable beds, closeness to our venue great, off road parking dog friendly

Off road parking , dog friendly nice garden

The house was not clean, for price and statement advertised of luxury suite I would have expected a higher level of cleanliness, tables and surface area sticky, broken glass tables, walls, door handles light switches dirty, house needed a deep clean

Entry to the house was easy,The beds are comfortable, shower was lovely and hot

It is very basic, sofas were a little uncomfortable, decor needs a good touch up, no washing up liquid so we couldn’t wash our glasses and cups we used so left them in the dishwasher ( no dishwasher tablets either) On arrival there was a broken mirror on the grass right outside the front door, front and back garden needs tidying up
