The Maples

Elizabeth and Martin were perfect hosts and nothing too much trouble. The location was perfect for us and near great restaurants and pubs beside river. Breakfasts cooked to order and perfection...even the poached eggs just right. Nice courtyard in back with gazebo seating and lots of flowers. We were there on hottest weekend of year so bedroom very hot but nothing could have been done about it...ag least windows opened and was a large ceiling fan in room. Would have preferred king bed but knew it was a double when we booked and king wouldn't fit in the room. This is a traditional older style house run by two lovely people and we would stay again if down that way.

Parking right in front of property. Easy walk to quaint village centre with shops, cafes, restaurants and great pub.

Friendly and helpful owners in a characteristic building and its properties. Breakfast coordinate with an App. Wifi works well. Direct surroundings 70s shopping center. The nature parks in the vicinity are good.

Martin and Elizabeth were fantastic hosts. Very welcoming to my children and I. Breakfast was excellent and the family room was a good size and with all the amenities you’d expect. Location so good, only a 3-4 minute walk to Hythe Pier and pier train and there are a good selection of shops, cafes etc also.
