Great location, beautiful views. Great bed and bedding. Bathroom fully functional but felt very basic and very smelly.

A friendly and peaceful accommodation in Juta with beautiful views toward the Caucasus. The location is particularly convenient as a starting point for the Chaukhi Pass, and the owners also offer horse riding directly from the property. The food was genuinely tasty, especially the tea made with local herbs. Toward the end of the season not every dish was available, with a strong focus on Georgian cuisine, but that felt understandable.
The main drawbacks were a bathroom drain smell, a tiring 250 m uphill walk with luggage, and the fact that Juta is far more touristy than its remote appearance suggests. Access is only suitable with an SUV, and the area can be difficult in rainy weather. Very good for backpackers and outdoor-minded travelers, less ideal for guests seeking a higher-end hotel experience.
