The space is small, but very well laid out (not cramped). It had all the amenities you'd need, for a short stay. It was very quiet, which was exactly what I was hoping for, as I was running the Royal Victoria Marathon. The deep soaker tub was perfect for an epsom salts bath, after the run. Clean, quiet and very well priced.
The pillows were either flat, or overly large and a bit hard. We did not find them comfortable at all.
The only other thing that I would suggest would be to supply a dish towel in the kitchenette, instead of just paper towels.
Aside from that, we really did enjoy our stay there and hope to be back, one day.

The suite was well outfitted with everything you would need to make your own food. It is an older place but very useable. No problems with the owner. He was very responsive.
A few things were broken like the handle on the fridge and the towel rack in the bathroom. The backyard was a bit of a mess. It could use some attention ie weed whacking, junk removal and maybe some flowers. It did have a table and chairs and a hot tub but it was not in service. Finding the house was a bit tricky as the signage was small.

Our stay here was very comfortable. It's spacious enough for two people! The bed/pillows were super comfortable, along with the couch and mustard coloured lounge chair. The bathroom was a nice size and shower was great. Plenty of hot water and water pressure was nice. Fireplace was a pleasant addition and being able to use the TV. Location was decent. It is a bit out of the way from the main area of Victoria but bus service was frequent and lots of different routes in the area to get to places easily. Walking distance to Goldstream Village where there's some cute cafes and a good grocery store.
The only thing that I feel could have made it better was the kitchenette being better stocked with things like salt, pepper, maybe one or two other basic seasonings, a can opener, and plastic wrap/aluminum foil. We tried to make some of our meals while there and it would have been nice to already have these items in the storage areas but it wasn't the worst thing. *Side note: we did ask the host for salt and pepper after and she delivered them to our door along with fresh towels which was nice!

Quiet, easy to find, responsive hosts. I'd requested no strong scents for cleaning due to my chronic conditions, and they followed through. Bedding very comfortable; area was perfect for a simple overnight stay.
Hard to avoid, but the provided soaps and shampoos were still scented, and I detected scented detergent on the towels. Just made me a little itchy. And Canada was in a heat wave, so the one standing fan was the only cooling device -- again, not much the owner can do about the climate.
