Exceptional ocean views, very helpful staff and delicious meals.

Hotel is isolated from main town but hotel provides regular shuttle bus.

Shuttle bus from the station made it convenient. Located on the side of the cream with wonderful views from all rooms. Onsen was good at the end of the day. Ebisu Island is a few steps away and wonderful to walk around.

Onsen could have been hotter.

This property was stunning. I drove & stayed alone & it was the most restful night which was much needed after the journey I had. The bed was comfy, the walk around the nearby island room, the view was insane, room service excellent & I really enjoyed just being able to tuck myself in and throw on a few minutes of Netflix before going to sleep.

Nothing! It was all amazing. The only thing I could think of anyone complaint about is location, but personally I thought that was one of the best parts about the stay. It was very isolated and felt calm which was just what I needed.

The balconies with private onsen were a great experience looking over the sea. The rooms were large and well provided for.

The location is quite remote. A car is definitely required to get from Shimoda and even then it feels isolated. This was also not helped by the fact there were no overnight staff at the hotel or any contact numbers. We experienced an earthquake at 11pm and had no way to contact the staff for any reassurance. We only recieved a reply on booking.com at 10am the next day. As a hotel hosting tourists I would expect better service and support. The balcony also leaked very badly in the rain so most of the outside space was soaked through and not a usable space.
