What a lovely host. The accommodation is in a very quiet location, though a bit far out. A fantastic location right by the water. A great base for excursions. (Cliffs of Moher, Kylemore Abbey, Galway,…)
Our family room was very small and had a sloping ceiling.

We had a lovely stay at Breacan Cottage B&B. The location is fantastic, right by the sea, and our room had a beautiful view over the water. The surroundings are peaceful and picturesque, and the host was very warm and welcoming. A really beautiful place in a great location — we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Our host was welcoming and friendly. A fridge for guests was useful and a guest lounge provided.
I was allergic to the fabric conditioner used on the bedding. The duvet cover wasn't changed, but a sheet inserted between duvet and sleeping person.
Breakfast was very poor by modern standards - white sliced bread, no fruit or yogurt. Cereals dished out by the host. Described as continental but no pastries.
