Area needs to be maintained and furniture replaced. All pool furniture was broken so you had to be careful where you sit or you could fall through them.

The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach and close to lots of restaurants, many of which are accessible by golf cart. The house itself is spacious and well-kept, and the pool was a nice bonus. We did experience a few minor hiccups, but the realty office was responsive and resolved everything quickly. The only downside was the cleanliness—while the house looked tidy at first glance, the floors were dirty and it didn’t seem like it had been deep cleaned between guests. Still, overall we really enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back.

Clean, and well decorated, kitchen was appropriately stocked with essentials, the full size washer and dryer was perfect for keeping up with our laundry. The couches and beds were very comfortable. And everyone, kids and adults loved the game table! The pool was wonderful, it was a great size and well maintained. There was a man out cleaning it every morning. Plenty of parking under the house and space for all the beach gear. The only thing that would have made it better for us with having 2 families and 4 boys, would be if the 3rd bedroom had 2 sets of bunks, rather than the twin over double bunk and twin sofa bed...the boys didn't want to share beds so 1 slept on the couch the whole week, but he didn't mind because it was very comfortable. We were worried about the location being directly across from 2 hotels, but accessing the beach was easy and there was plenty of room for a great spot. There was one day the AC struggled to keep up but it was almost 110 that day, the rest of the time the AC was perfect. Overall, great location, well updated and decorated and comfortable home. We would definitely consider staying here again!

The location was just as advertised until the third day when the ceiling in the shared bathroom sprung a leak and water begun pouring into the bathroom floor. If that wasn’t bad enough, when a member of Garden City maintenance arrived, he told me that they had the same problem with the same rental unit last year. If that’s the case, why not do a little follow up and constantly inspect the repairs to make sure they were completed in a satisfactory way?Then, standalone AC units were placed in two of the three bedrooms since the main AC unit was not operational. Have you ever tried to sleep with a tornado in your bedroom? It’s impossible and could not wait to get home to catch up on my sleep. And our children in the third bedroom had no air and wanted to sleep with the window open, but it was raining too hard. Say all that to say, 2/3 of the vacation were amazing, the last 1/3? Not so much. We may look elsewhere next year.
