We had a lovely stay - delicious food, very comfortably well-appointed room plus free parking - perfect!

This posh B and B was everything we hoped for. From the complimentary drink on arrival to the luxurious room with comfy bed, selection or teas/coffee machine and homemade shortbread biscuits. It was an extremely hot weekend and the air conditioning in our room was so welcomed. We had an evening meal there and attention to details was excellent. Staff throughout our stay were very kind, helpful and attentive. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at Byfords and hope to return again. Forgot to mention the selection for breakfast was excellent too and plates were large and full for all cooked items on the menu. They beat us!!

Very comfortable, newly refurbished room- we stayed in number 7.
Aircon was great during the heatwave!
The food and service were also really good.
Would recommend.
Only niggles:
- the fridge in the room wasn’t very cold
- the Nespresso machine was a bit dodgy
- the fire door which drunken guest come back in through at 3am bangs rather loudly
But they are niggles- all in all very comfortable and worth the (slightly expensive) price
