I liked the in room hot spring bath.
Location was good for us because we wanted to hike.
I’m not sure what else is in the area.
Nice dinner and breakfast.
The room is very small and the bed too soft.
Most beds in Japan were to hard or just right.

The private baths were amazing and the small gardens behind the baths were delightful. The staff were incredibly hospitable and very clear when communicating about allergies. They accommodated our late arrival. Worked well with our language barrier and always tried to make it home.

The dinner and breakfast were excellent and the staff very helpful with providing alternate breakfast food for my family member who was feeling unwell.
The room was a little smaller than I had expected, though the lounge areas were cozy, clean, and comfortable.

The traditional feel of the place and the food was great!
Would have preferred the tatami-style bed.
