Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in August 2024. We had 6 adults ranging in size from 5’2” to 6’3”. We’ve been coming to Garden City for several years now. Great location and the condo was clean. This condo is on the third floor so there is a lot of ocean noise along with hearing the garage truck backup alarm.But in our experience it needed some TLC. The ice maker still didn’t work and neither did the light under the microwave. There was a small countertop ice maker that did work and there were battery operated puck lights mounted under the sink and microwave that needed new batteries. In the master bedroom there wasn’t a face plate covering the cable outlet by the chest of drawers and the white curtains, while very pretty, didn’t block much light during the night.The first bedroom on the right when you walk in queen bed was very uncomfortable and not as pictured. The bedroom with the two beds in it, one bed was comfortable but the other bed wasn’t. Our family is on the taller side and the 2nd and 3rd bathrooms shower heads were too short even for a 5’6” person.All in all it was a nice, clean condo. We didn’t say anything to the realty company regarding the ice machine nor the faceplate because we didn’t have small children and were okay with buying ice for our coolers.

Several complaints that I'd like to see the owner address: 1-Dishwasher doesn't wash dishes well or dry them; had to hand-dry most of the dishes each time before putting away. 2-Refrigerator ice maker doesn't work. GCR provided a separate ice-maker which was appreciated but the ice would melt some in that and then stick together. 3 - Would like to see a few serving pieces of dishes added, like casserole dishes/bowls. Overall a really nice condo and would stay there again! Thanks to the owners for making it very attractive and comfortable!

Our only problem was the refrigerator needs replaced. Ice maker broke and can’t regulate temperature properly. Either food on top shelves not very cold but if you turn temperature down food on bottom shelves freeze. Also dishwasher is old and should be replaced. I must say that Garden City Reality is the best rental company I have ever dealt with. They go over and above to make you happy. Any concerns we had were immediately taken care of the same day. Maggie in housecleaning is great! We would highly recommend them, they are the best
