Right in the middle of Magome so close to everything ; lovingly and tastefully restored home; views of the mountains from the room ; super friendly couple really helpful with our planning; love and care put into the breakfasts and dinner
The street in the main town is closed to vehicle access between 10am to 4pm, so if you have heavy bags you may need to travel a distance to the house. The taxi driver dropped us very close to the house though on a nearby access road

I had a wonderful, resorative stay at Sakanomichi. Ken and Yuki were generous hosts, super helpful and they had excellent local knowledge of the trail and the village. The place itself is beautifully and carefully designed, and the location is extraordinary!
The food was delicious, and the vibe was restful and sophisticated.
