Grand Anara Airport Hotel

A very convenient place to stay, especially if you want to avoid spending too much time in Jakarta’s heavy traffic. The food selection was amazing, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The staff were also incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. We had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again!

Unfortunately, there were a few issues that affected our stay. The doors are very heavy, and guests often let them slam shut, which made the room quite noisy both during the day and at night. We also found that the shower drain was blocked and caused flooding and the TV wasn’t working. The room could have been cleaned more thoroughly too, as we found chewing gum stuck underneath the tables. When we tried to contact the operator and reception, the tablet provided didn’t always work. It seemed to depend on the internet connection, which made it difficult to get help when we needed it. The location and food were convenient, but these issues could be improved to make the stay more comfortable for future guests.

Great location and very nice modern hotel

One of those places where none of the owners or architects have ever stayed. Off they had they’d realise it’s superficially nice but practically useless. We had a suite. No towel rail in sections bathroom. Absolutely no spare plugs or usb’s anywhere. You had to unplug lights, robes designed for children, where the belt is around your nipples, ridiculous computer controlled phone system that works intermittently so when it rings which it seemed to do regularly you can’t answer it, all information is on it so when it doesn’t work there’s no room service, no housekeeping, no nothing you can’t even unplug it. Why do hotels not try out their rooms.

The quality of the room

The food is absolutely not good - I got the burger and the chicken croquettes it was an unpleasant experience really low quality, actually could not finish eat although I was starving. I asked for a wake up call that never happened. The smart TV installation could not connect
