Now Now NoHo

Now Now is a fantastic location, the staff are so lovely, space is cool, bed is super comfy (for a tiny twin).

It's just loud. There's no getting around it. I don't sleep well there because of the noise. You're basically in a cubicle, except everyone's cubicle door latches and locks when they go in and out, so the sounds are constant. Plus ANY other noise people make is audible - phone alarms going off, zipping suitcases, whispering in the hallway, etc. There is no sound insulation. And the pods and beds are so narrow, any larger-bodied people really won't be comfortable. Also really wish there was an elevator.

Firstly, the staff were amazing. So friendly, and helpful - happy to give recommendations and answer all my questions. The location was perfect - Bowery gives you so many great streets and areas (Bleecker St, Elizabeth St, China Town/Little Italy, NoHo, Nolita, etc.) Some amazing coffee shops (% Arabica & Enly are great) and Apollo Bagels, etc. within 15 mins walking distance. You also have the subway, about 5 mins walk away which can take you to 5th Ave, Central Park, etc. Washroom facilities were all very clean, stocked loo rolls, and body wash, etc. and I never had to queue for a shower or loo. They also have Dyson hairdryers, and lots of plugs by mirrors for your own hair tools, etc. Finally, I have travelled a lot, and this was honestly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Without a doubt. I would 100% come back to stay here, without a doubt.

For the most part, I slept like a baby - which I honestly felt super grateful for, given the set-up (be realistic that this is not a standard hotel set-up). However, there were a couple of nights where two girls selfishly had phone calls in the early hours (most people are super respectful). It is part of the parcel when you stay in a "hostel", so if you are a really light sleeper, this may not be the place for you. That being said, they do provide ear plugs, and sound machines for sleeping (no eye mask, so bring your own).

The location is simply amazing! And perfect for solo travelling. I stayed on a women+ Floor which was uper convenient. De rooms are tiny but the bed is super comfy. Staff is friendly am restrooms are really clean

Most rooms obviously don't have any daylight. Which can become a bit draining on a longer stay. But it was only a small point for me :)

There was far too much noise. The walls were very thin, and since there was no ceiling, you could hear the adjoining doors closing, along with murmurs and laughter, all through the night. As for friendliness, one particular person at reception could improve considerably
