Baffling

Booked out of sheer desperation to be close to the hospital

Utterly bonkers. The amount of information you have to provide for such little in return is baffling. After booking, was prompted to leave a £100 security deposit, or a £30 non-refundable payment, (wonder how much they make from that) despite booking.coms frequent warnings to never give your payment details to anyone outside of the booking platform, AND then a pre check-in 'interview' over the phone. I was expecting something like fortknox as a result, but no, arrived to an unlocked front door, and the handle to my booked room sheared off and coming away in my hand. How they can take such deposits from people and not check rooms between bookings is beyond me. The lady on the WhatsApp was communicative, but there was no offer of a different room while they sorted it out, I had to jimmy the door to get myself in and sleep with the handle inside. No updates for hours the next morning, I couldn't leave the room without being potentially locked out again. No refund, whole or partial. I only booked out of sheer desperation to be close to the hospital where my partner was, didn't appreciate multiple follow up calls after I'd left.

Don't do it, it's a con.

Nothing much. The towels were decent.

It was an awful location. Very expensive for very little. You had to pay more money to get your key, I waited an hour and a half outside, filling out forms and sending money before I had access to my key. What a con. I left after 2 nights, I couldn't bare to spend my 3rd night there. The whole experience was just awful.

Refund Denied

I was not able to stay at this property as I over booked. I was not able to have a refund of my money. Not happy with the outcome.

It was a lovely room, cosy and had what we needed, a big shout out to Kyle from the office that handled my booking from start to finish and rang to even check our stay had been comfortable and enjoyable, 5 star service
