Vuga Hostel is in a great location, and my stay was generally fine. The electricity was reliable throughout my two-night stay, and the daytime temperature was manageable with just the small fan. I initially booked for one night and extended for a second because I had a tour to Prison Island and wanted to avoid the hassle of switching accommodation.
No Mosquito Nets: There are a lot of mosquitoes in the rooms, and mosquito nets are essential here, but none are provided. No Working AC: The listing advertises air conditioning, but when I asked the owner about it, it wasn't working. She didn't follow up or respond regarding the issue.

A big thank you to the owner of the property. Very understanding and accommodative. I was served by the best, Tumsime is his name. He is the receptionist and property manager, may GOD bless him. He treated us like family. The hotel is in a central place and is easily accessible. 50 mtrs to Maru Restaurant and Serena Hotel and 100 mtrs to Hayyat Hotel not forgeting the famous Forodhani market. I could walk to almost every place that I wanted to visit.
None that I can say.

I liked ** location, ** kitchen ** reception/cleaner staff member.
Was really hot and humid, fan did not work properly, beds have no light and only single plug, so when fan is plugged in, there is nowhere to charge my mobile. I did make a suggestion that we need hand washing soap in the toilet but no avail, unfortunately.

"Les hôtes se sont levés à 3h du matin pour s'assurer que je ne manque pas mon vol, m'ouvrir la porte et m'aider à porter mes affaires.
J'ai vraiment apprécié, merci encore."
