It was one of the lowest priced options I found during my stay, yet the room was quite good for our family of three. The WiFi was fast and stable. The location is convenient and close to Southampton Central rail station and the city centre. Hot water and heating worked well. There were two televisions for entertainment. The kitchen was well equipped. The neighbourhood was quiet.

The room felt old with a slight moldy smell, and the floor creaked when walking. The handwashing sink in the toilet was too small. The deposit refund took more than two weeks, but I contacted the landlord and it was resolved.

This place deserves a higher rating. The location is great. It was super quiet. Everything worked perfectly. Very comfortable bed, easy check in, good instructions. Good shower and the kitchen had everything you’ll need. Really nice and clean inside.

Lovely flat, but I could smell dog as we walked in......there were plug in air fresheners which gave me a head ache so I had to turn them off, but that has not put me off staying again ...everything we needed was there.

This apartment offers a decent location, but the overall experience was underwhelming. I've booked very last minute and had a quick reply from the owner.

While clearly kept as clean as possible, the space feels very tired and is in need of a full update. The most significant issue is the lack of a proper bathroom; there is only a small sink with cold water behind the toilet, making basic hygiene tasks like brushing teeth or washing your face quite difficult. There are no mixer taps anywhere. The refrigerator needed defrosting and its light was out, the electric wall heater wasn't sufficient during freezing temperatures, and the Wi-Fi was often slow enough that I used my mobile data instead. Note that the floors are quite creaky. While my stay was okay for the basics, the inconveniences were too many. I would not choose to return or recommend it without substantial improvements.
