Profitez d'un séjour dans la charmante ville de Smithville dans ce chalet historique de 2 chambres situé au milieu d'un jardin incroyable et d'espaces extérieurs. Le chalet est à distance de marche des restaurants et des magasins du centre-ville. Les autres attractions à proximité incluent le parc d'État de Beuscher, le fleuve Colorado, le golf, la tyrolienne. Smithville est à une courte distance en voiture des principales villes d'Austin, Houston et San Antonio. C'est un endroit idéal pour une escapade rapide, une réunion de famille ou des antiquités. (Peut ajouter un studio pour un espace supplémentaire - 4 couchages).

The house is adorable and comfy. The outdoor space was nuce, though with the heat we only sat out in the morning. Only had two "issues." One, the proximity to the train. Luckily it only went by a couple of times during the might. Two, primary bd mattress was too soft. But that may not be an issue for everyone. Overall, great stay. The place was very clean and that made for a relaxing stay.

We had a great time at the Short cottage. The house had all the amenities needed for a comfy stay. The beds were very comfortable and the property was super clean! The backyard was beautiful. I enjoyed hanging out with our 2 dogs. I called it the secret garden,The neighborhood is cute and it is a short walk to the downtown area.We would definitely return.

Most everything was fine for our weekend stay. House has a nice xeriscaped front area, probably looks amazing in the spring. House was cute inside and out. Negatives: tub was dirty with some sort of grime that we had to clean so we could use. The fridge functioned but obviously there were issues with the shelving as it was held in place by duct tape. One of the arm chairs was damaged and if you were not paying attention you could get scratched by the loose upholstery staples.
