It was perfect for our needs while walking on Dartmoor for 2 days. Staff really welcoming, friendly and helpful.

great community pub- atmosphere, food and service were all great. Bunk room is simple clean and comfortable. Ideal base for walking in Dartmoor.
The cooling unit on the pub wall was loud at times in the bunk room No 6.

Location perfect for hiking on the moors
Cosy food, good food and really friendly staff
Heating was turned off at night, it was freezing in the bunk room. Couldn't quite figure how to fill the kettle unless you had a cup with you to decant from the sinks in the toilet block
