The staff were the absolute best part! So friendly and accommodating. We didn't realize that the hotel has a 2-star Michelin restaurant~ had we known, we would have made plans and booked in advance! As it was, the breakfast and normal dinner restaurant (the Bistro) were amazing. The location is pretty out of the way, but this hotel made it worthwhile.

We had a lovely stay at the Palacete Severo. Our room was comfortable. The property is unusual and charming. We loved spending time in the library and felt welcome to make ourselves at home. Breakfast was excellent. And the staff incredibly kind and accommodating.

Perfect from the minute we checked in to the minute we left.
The service was attentive, the food and cocktails were amazing.
The spa is an added bonus and was really good, including a realy good massage.

We loved our stay here - the perfect place to relax near the end of a busy trip. We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening, but breakfast and lunch items were delicious and well presented. We particularly loved the design of the interiors and quality of the refurbishment which I think is quite recent. I had a really great experience in the spa in particular. We found the location convenient for Cedofeita in the evenings and also enjoyed the local area of the hotel.
