Bridgerton

Clean and fresh room and bathroom, comfortable big bed, 20 min walk or 5-7 min by bus to the historical center. The host responded quicky to the requests. Quite area around, close to the water channel ( 100 meters)

The bed takes almost all space in the room, the windows were small in the upper part of the wall so no garden view at all despite stated (felt like in a pit). While making the reservation, the information provided indicated that the was private kitchenette that turned out to be a shared kitchen which nevertheless was a pleasant lounge zone especially of no others visitors around (if you are lucky)

The shared kitchen space was good with a fridge, microwave, crockery, cutlery and plenty of coffee; a great place to be sociable and learn about what's in the local area. We met some very nice people who were very helpful and shared their pastries. About a 20 minute walk into town.

Arrived by motorbike and rode straight in the large open gate, at which point the arrival instructions didn't make sense. Eventually got help. It was suggested we pay to park the bikes in the spaces next to the building. Instead we parked next to the cycle bays over the road for free. It is like a hostel but with fewer amenities and a higher price. Could do with some net curtains or blinds over the windows to restrict the view the neighbours have straight into your shower, if you're at the rear of the building. You can close the curtains but then it's dark. Room was a bit cramped once we unloaded the gear off the bikes.
