Ulrika hat immer schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert. Sie war da um uns zu begrüssen, obwohl wir spät dran waren. Sie hatte gute Tipps für Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Appartment ist in bester Laufdistanz zur Altstadt und direkt an den Boboli-Gärten, die man nicht verpassen darf. Der kleine Supermarkt ist zwar teuer, aber man bekommt, was man braucht. Ich würde wieder hier buchen.

Naturgemäss ist es ein bisschen lauter, da man in einer Stadt wohnt. Mit geschlossenem fenster ist das aber kein Problem.

This was a lovely flat, spacious and light with good furnishings, a very comfortable bed and lovely towels. It had a nice balcony off the bedroom with good views and benefited from having 2 bathrooms. My partner stayed during some of my stay so this aspect was appreciated at that time. As a regular visitor to Florence, this is my favourite area as it is less touristy on this side of the river. There was a nearby bus stop with bus no 11 going into town and on the other side of Porta Romana, more bus stops, including those going to the Chianti area and Siena, San Gimignano. Ulrika, the host, could not have been more helpful. She contacted me before my stay to alert me to a tap issue and a plumber visit, and was then there during the visit. Given I was there for an extended stay, she agreed to the flat being cleaned mid way and there were always plenty of clean towels provided. She responded very promptly to all messages.

The kitchen, while spacious, lacked work surfaces and this could be remedied very easily by there being an additional unit to the left of the sink area. The flat did not have a washing machine and this was my error as I thought it did have one. It is actually the 2 bedroom flats which have them. There was a laundry facility about an 8 minute walk away on the same street.

A great location. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well stocked with kitchen equipment and toiletries. The host is very responsive and went out of her way to make sure we had clear instructions to find the flat, places to visit in Florence and recommended restaurants. There is a communal area inside and out, which is helpful as the apartment didn't have a lounge. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the parakeets fly past! This would be a good place for a large group as there are several different apartments to rent.

For being an apt. No living area only 2br. You have to take out trash before you leave which is fine but it’s a 5 minute walk. If you are older this definitely isn’t the place to stay
