Paila Hostel Lakeside

The best thing about Paila was the staff, always super friendly, available at any time and helpful. The place it's in a great location, very close to the lake, shops, bars, etc.

Awesome location, with the most incredible views of the lake from our bathroom, as well as every other window you look out from!! The owner Tarun is authentically friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable about pretty much everything in the local area. He is approachable, helpful, honest and trustworthy, we cannot recommend him or his guesthouse enough. The breakfast is cooked fresh, WiFi also excellent. There was also a kettle in our room! We will be back!!

We’ve traveled to 24 countries, and this is honestly one of the best hostels we’ve ever stayed at. ❤️🏔️ Everything about this place felt special from the moment we arrived. We had such a wonderful first impression of Nepal and its people, and we felt that warmth right here at this hostel, especially from the guy at reception. Since it was our first time in Nepal and we knew very little about the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek, we had so many questions. He patiently explained everything, gave us tons of helpful advice, and made us feel so much more prepared for our trek. But do you know what the most incredible part was? We could see the Annapurna mountains right from our room! 😍 The views in the morning and evening were absolutely breathtaking. We genuinely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Pokhara. If we ever come back, we wouldn’t hesitate for a second to stay here again. Thank you for making our first Nepal experience so special! ❤️🏔️
