Absolutely loved staying in Grooms Cottage at Riding House Farm, Castleton. Incredible 360 scenery & walks on the doorstep, very friendly hosts. The cottage was warm & cosy, everything you might possibly need was provided including fresh milk, butter, bread, orange juice, tea/coffee, felt very welcoming. Immaculately clean, very comfy beds, if your looking for a peaceful stay in the heart of Castleton you will not be disappointed with Riding House Farm.
Would prefer earlier checkin, but we understand to achieve the high level cleaning - a later check-in ensures cleanliness.

A great location on edge of Castleton with a beautifully maintained & equipped cosy cottage. Definitely would love to come back and stay again at this gem.

Lovely cottage, comfortable , rural location , surrounded by beautiful landscapes . The property was clean , spacious and ideally located for walks and castleton. Highly recommend the hosts .
If anything , water pressure in the shower could be better… but that’s all .
