Nice place in the heart of Walnut Creek.

This was a two-bedroom duplex with only one neighbor who we never saw. It was so peaceful in the neighborhood. It was perfect for us because we were looking for *quiet*. I recommend this for a place to camp out and work on a book or manuscript. It's better than a cabin in the woods because you can walk to civilization and access amenities. The house is not fancy but it feels like a home. The dish sponge and paper towels were new, soaps dispensers were full, and there were lots of pillows and towels for use. There were thoughtful touches from the host, like little snacks and water bottles, along with bigger things like hooks where you expect to need to hang things (even hotels get this wrong!). I was worried when I saw the lack of sidewalks in the immediate area, but later realized there are few cars traveling on the road and it felt safe walking around. The downtown is maybe a 5-7 minute walk from the house, and sidewalks appear pretty quickly along the route. There is a lot to do downtown: shopping, restaurants, massage, etc. We had excellent Persian and Greek meals while in Walnut Creek. This is one of the best food trips we've done in a while. Our nervous pup who never stops pacing in hotels was able to settle shortly after we arrived. This is the calmest I have seen him on a trip. We did some quiet neighborhood walks, a couple of quick potty breaks in the backyard, and lots of relaxing. Finally, the host was lovely and had great communication.

What a beautiful home! It is on a little hill so there are beautiful views. Very comfortable accommodations and a nice enclosed yard for my dog to use. It is walking distance to shopping. It also has dedicated parking. I enjoyed my stay!

My sons & I needed a local place to stay while mold renovation is being taken care of in our home. Hannan was absolutely amazing with communication around us having a peaceful stay. Truly appreciated.
