Hi Ostello Della Pace Assisi

Close to town good breakfast

Ruku is an outstanding and deeply caring host. The property is calm and peaceful and strategically place. The place is clean, welcoming, and bright.

The location is by a road that many cars speed on, sorta the opposite of what Saint Francis exemplifies. That is not the hostel's fault but it contextualizes stay, especially walking pilgrims that venture up and down that road on their way to the property. The price is a bit steep for a dorm situation outside of Assisi.

The location was a little far than I had judged on the map. There's a huge hill one must go up which adds to the effort. There's large stains on all of the chair cushions in the lobby. I was on a top bunk ( which I understood was possible), but overnight I looked around and saw some beds empty. If that's the case, can you strip the beds after people leave so there's more options for places to sleep? We were low on toilet paper a lot. Lastly, as I was getting gathering my things together at 10:20a, a male employee came in the room. He looked at me & around the room then shut the door. He didn't introduce himself or knock. In the future, can you knock and say who you are so you don't catch someone undressing? Last thing,.. the wheel on the cereal container was broken. The top was taken out and visitors were reaching their hand in & scooping cereal into their bowl. This is unsanitary. Can you get a new cereal dispenser please?
