The location was awesome. Near a beautiful are of Venice, and near to the beach.

I expected the room to be bigger, maybe it was not clear enough on the post.

The accommodation was spacious enough for our group, and everyone had their own bed. The unit had a sufficiently equipped kitchen. Another advantage was its location, close to both the beach and the Venice Canals. The instructions provided by the host were clear and helpful, which made everything easy.

There were, however, several drawbacks during our stay: there were no towel hooks in the bathroom, the bathroom door handle was broken, one of the kitchen cabinet doors was damaged and hanging loose, and there was no trash can. Parking directly in front of the unit is very limited, which makes loading and unloading luggage from the car a little inconvenient. The garage is only suitable for a smaller car. There are plenty of paid parking options nearby, but overnight parking costs around $60.

The best part of my stay here at Maison on the Beach was its location. Walking distance from the Venice boardwalk, shops, and restaurants. Only a 20 minute drive to LAX so it's super convenient. I also liked having entrances from the front and back of the buildings.

The room itself could have been a bit better. It was on the smaller side for two people so we struggled where to put our belongings (there's only one small and narrow table). The bathroom lacked proper ventilation and there weren't hooks anywhere to hang our towels so they stayed damp. The remote for the ceiling fan did not work so we were also limited to the lamp on the bedside table. Lastly, the booking indicated that it included parking, however upon arrival the garage was fully taken up. I sent a message to the host asking if it would be possible to leave a space for my rental, however no one responded to me. Luckily I was there over a weekend and found street parking easily.

Cramped, musty smell disguised by strong air freshener. We didn’t like the lack of a kitchen sink for washing dishes and had to use bathroom sink. Although it was a nice gesture to leave champagne.
