Beautiful old house, lovely furnishings and super comfortable bed and linen. So thoughtful to provide so many extras…cereal, oils, butter and spreads, all washing liquids, bathroom supplies. Location perfect for Havelock North, easy walk into town and short drive to Te Mata Peak. Bathroom fitted the style and age of house, you do have to be able to step into the bath, and reach the shower controls.

Space, location, amenities, great beds
We had no hot water when we arrived, but the blown element was soon fixed and we had hot water by the next evening.
The only real problem was the shower over the bath. The bath had no flat area to stand firmly on. Instead it curved sharply on both sides making it very unstable to stand on.

Perfect for our short stay with an easy walk to town. Comfortable beds and good heating on a chilly night.
