Excellent location along the Blue Ridge Parkway, surrounded by beautiful mountain and lake views. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature.

The location is superb and a very good sized room
The house keeping was very poor. We arrived in the room with no clean towels, just a used one hanging behind the door. Empty toilet roll, no shower gel or coffee. Service in restaurant was also poor and disorganised

My husband and I are diabetic. I would have preferred ordering from the menu over the buffet.

Beautiful location, historic lodge. Beautiful scenic restaurant with limited but great dinner. Good bar and lounge with friendly and helpful bartender.
Fire pit by lake.
Facilities are outdated and still in the 1970s. Due to staffing issues room was not clean, no bath towels were left in restrooms. Bed was creaky and uncomfortable. Check in was a nightmare. Long wait and agent sent us to a building on the far end of the property when our room was actually in the lodge.
Breakfast was changed to buffet at the last minute where we had no way to order items that met our dietary restrictions. We had to drive 45 minutes to another restaurant. We booked two nights but left after the first night.
