the room itself was exceptional. the use of coloured lighting is a really nice touch you can really create a nice vibe in your room, and the bed was huge and really comfy. the air con / fan thing was really helpful as when i arrived my room was far too hot but i was able to quickly bring it to a reasonable temperature, and then after turning the fan off it stayed at that temperature for the remainder of my stay. the whole hotel is a bit of a maze but there's lights with directional signs that shine on the floor at junctions which is very needed and quite helpful.

while the shower facilities were clean, there wasn't anywhere to put your clothes/shoes whilst you're in there really. the signage for these facilities wasn't the best either. the lobby did have a vending machine which is nice but it was really lowly stocked so not very useful. the check-in process was also quite lengthy and all done on a screen, i would prefer if these details were done online before you get there, especially considering you have to type in a lot of your personal data.

Les chambres dans « la ruche » sont exiguës, enfin, sans grande surprise ! C’est bel et bien la proposition de l’hôtel. À deux, il peut être compliqué de se mouvoir dans le peu d’espace, cerné d’étagères, qui sert d’entrée à la chambre. Mais, par contre, les lits sont hyper confortables, larges et agréables. Et aussi, le lieu est surprenamment calme (ou très bien insonorisé). Enfin, il faut parler des douches : juste exceptionnelles ! Du moins, pour des douches communes. Tellement agréables que j’avais juste envie d’y rester. Il y avait tous les produits disponibles sur place : gel douche, shampooing et après-shampooing, ainsi que des sèche-cheveux ultra performants. Quant aux toilettes, j’ai eu la surprise de découvrir pour la première fois les toilettes japonaises ! Cet hôtel peut être un très bon choix pour pas trop cher si vous avez besoin de séjourner à proximité de la gare d’Amsterdam Sloterdijk.

Résidus collants non-nettoyés près du lit. La nourriture et les boissons proposées sur place au distributeur étaient chères — mieux valait manger en dehors !

Good location close to foog outlets ans walking distance to town , train and bus stations , the multi function toilet was pretty cool

Self make coffee facilities could be improved

The bathroom, toilets and bedroom were very clean.

I could not sleep at all. My room was right next to the hallway door. The whole night people kept entering and leaving the hallway and the door made a really loud noise when closing. So loud that it sounded like it was my own door. That’s why it woke me up every time.
