Etwas abseits gelegen

A new enough hotel that the hire drivers didn’t know exactly how to find it. A definitely 5 star property at a 3 star price. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. The rooftop pool and breakfast area was spectacular. The breakfast array was stunning. Far more than we could ever eat including a fresh egg station. The staff was wonderful. When our key card balked at the elevator a waiter escorted down the service to the lobby. There are several small restaurants and coffee shops within meters of the hotel and a restaurant row about 1000 m away to the north.

Brand new hotel. Clean. I was able to check in early (before lunch time) without additional fees. Staff is very nice.

Front desk staff was not very good in English. Building still under construction : noise starting at 8 am + Roof deck not open (including swimming pool) + Parking access ramp closed. Air conditioning was not very efficient (hope this is due to undergoing construction !) There was a post in the middle of the window area so it was almost impossible to fully close the curtains and obtain dark.
