A very good position in the Medina, in the very heart of Essouira but set back by an alley so very quiet at night to sleep and great 360 degrees from the terrace
Only a little comment that the upper terrace looked a little neglected, all the planters had dead or no plants. The balustrade does not go all the way around which my friend felt was unsafe

Posizione ottima. Bagno molto carino.

The location is perfect, everywhere you wish to explore is walking distance but tucked away so it’s quiet and safe. You are really in the heart of the Medina (including the surrounding mosques). The building is beautiful and the warm reception from the staff is wonderful, the WiFi is also excellent in every room so working from there was very easy.
It’s a great stay - but for a couple of nights only.
It’s a nice property but it is very over priced: it is just a 2 bedroom (2 bathroom) Riad; Breakfast is extra, transport is extra and there are no basic items like shower gel, shampoo or even water, it felt like everything you needed had an extra price list.
It’s a beautiful building but the renovations are still very new and not quite finished. Both bathrooms have drainage problems so we had days of flooded floors and had to message to ask for clean towels, the bed was also very very hard with thin bedding, so it was not the most comfortable night. For the price there are much better value options, but a few changes and this could be much much better.
