The Mist Hotel Entebbe

The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were very good and attentive. The location of the hotel was ok but the road leading to the hotel was pretty bad as construction was taking place so lots of large vehicles using the narrow road all day long.

The breakfast in the morning was not very good cold food mostly, sausages and beans always cold, not a lot of choice. In the morning I had a Spanish omelette that’s pretty much what my breakfast consisted of. Had some laundry done at the hotel around 12 items and the member of staff overcharging £30 and asked me not to inform the hotel of the costs stating he had a sick child at home. Asking if I would not inform the front desk of the cost if he gave me back 50k UGX, I am sure it was because of me being a tourist thinking I was an easy target. I did inform the front desk on leaving the hotel to return home and they told me he had been sacked as a result of this.

Wonderful place, accessible location, very helpful staff, neat and very clean. I highly recommend. Love it.

Power went off and we were given a lamp, but later they put the generator on though not so quick. B
