Perfect location, charming old-world interior, and friendly, helpful staff. We had a lovely stay!

Confusing rules about garbage recycling.

The photographs on the web site do not do justice to the view from the living room. Vittoria, Paolo and the other staff members at Love Como were extremely helpful even to the extent of helping us oldies with our luggage and helping us to park in front of the building (where our car remained for the duration of our stay). The central location is excellent and the 44 steps leading up to the apartment were a small price to pay for the view (we are both in our late seventies). Thanks to Vittoria et al.

Not much if the truth be told.

You can't beat the view and location. I spent almost every minute of the day looking out of the lovely windows over the rooftops and Lake Como. Really beautiful apartment and it has a full kitchen with everything you need. Lovely sofa and a minute to walk to the center of Menaggio. Could not fault the location or the flat.

I was stressing a little bit about the waste disposal as you have 4 bins and separate glass. The T&Cs state that waste disposal is not included but we struggled to find the bottle bank (despite hearing int) and after I took all waste into the car, the lady told me to leave it at the entrance. Would have been nicer to include this in our charges, less stress. The only other thing is the noise levels. The church bells start at 8 am right next to the bedroom and you can hear the bottle bank and other traffic early in the morning. But I would still stay here again just for the views.

Air con is really necessary bit discovered it not in a lot of places. The apartment is very crammed for 4 adults. The pull out bed is perfect for children u12 not an 18 and 21 yrs old. Double bed was comfortable
