Hotel Wünschmann

Das Frühstück ist gut, die Betten auch. Die Lage, nahezu am Strand ist super.

Die Bar schließt bereits um 21 Uhr!!! Das war sogar noch älteren Gästen zu früh. Früher konnte man wahlweise auch im Hotel Roth frühstücken; bitte erlauben Sie das wieder. Im Frühstücksraum gibt es einen Oberküchenchef, der alle Minuten darüber wacht, das alle Wurst- und Käsesorten noch im Angebot sind und dass jede Blumenvase im rechten Winkel zur Tischecke steht. Mich hat das sehr genervt.

Vom Bahnhof aus gut und schnell erreichbar - Sehr herzlicher Empfang - top: Zimmer schon vor der offiziellen Check-in-Zeit verfügbar - sehr schönes Zimmer, gut und gemütlich eingerichtet, mit Balkon - Frühstücksbüffet sehr lecker und große Auswahl, Frühstücksraum nicht überlaufen und entspannte Atmosphäre

The location is great and breakfast starts early (7am). Both the room and bathroom were very clean. Staff was friendly and efficient. If you need anything while the reception is unmanned you can go to the neighboring hotel Roth where they're 24hrs/day. I didn't need anything but it's nice that the possibility exists.

No minibar or electric kettle in the room. Horrible bed - they have rubber bedsheets under the normal sheet. I woke up every day at least once because of that. Breakfast was in principle good, the staff was very friendly snd professional, but the quality of food offered and the selection was really subpar considering this is a fairly expensive hotel (>200€/night for my single room) - I had much better breakfast for eg at Dünnenberg and Wiking. Zero privacy on the balcony - the balcony is basically shared between neighboring rooms, only divided by a low, glass barrier which anybody, even a small child, could easily climb over...and enter your room, as in summer during the heatwave you obviously will leave your balcony door ajar.
