Everything, stylish, understated, well located and great service

We were greeted by Percy he was very welcoming , and explained everything to us and stated if we needed any thing at all to notify him . Our room was spacious ; the linens nice and beautiful . Loved looking outside the windows to the streets of Barcelona . The location was amazing !

The rooms were a bit dim . A choice for a brighter light in both rooms would have been nice . Other wise everything was perfect

The hotel is in a fantastic location, allowing you to explore the Gothic Quarter and walk to many of the central tourist attractions. The hotel appears to have been renovated at some point. The staff are very helpful. Even allowing us to check in early, which was fantastic. Our junior suite was cleaned daily. Modern appliances. The bathroom was okay. The hot water did run out on one occasion, leaving one family member without a shower. The breakfast was good, with a small selection of hot and cold options.

We had a few grievances during our stay. The walls between the rooms were extremely thin. We could clearly hear their conversation, listen to the movie they were watching and unfortunately could clearly hear the extracurricular activity occurring. Our room developed a horrible smell, which we mentioned to the staff. No problem was identified, but we did notice the same smell in the lane outside the hotel. We assumed the smell in our room was from the sewerage system. Regular sprays of perfume helped to mask the smell. The lighting was not very good. The room was dark, even when we opened the curtains it was still dark. Power points and light switches. Some worked, some didn’t.
