Cet appartement élégant et moderne, situé dans la rue prestigieuse Claudio Coello, en plein cœur du quartier de Salamanca, offre un mélange parfait de confort, de fonctionnalité et de style. Son emplacement privilégié, entre les rues Serrano et Lagasca, permet un accès rapide aux principaux quartiers commerçants et d’affaires de Madrid. Il se trouve également à quelques pas de la station de métro Serrano et à seulement 10 minutes à pied du parc du Retiro.
L’appartement, récemment rénové, a été conçu pour offrir une ambiance accueillante et pratique, idéale pour ceux qui souhaitent effectuer un séjour prolongé en ville. The apartment is perfectly located, and nicely decorated. The windows all look into the courtyard, so no view, but it's very quiet and lots of light. I would give it a 9 out of 10 except for a few issues. The dishwasher cannot fully open as it runs into the fridge, so very difficult to use. The stovetop worked intermittently. If you plan on eating out this isn't a problem-I had rented for a month. As one previous client wrote, the two bedrooms are not equal. Unfortunately for me, the larger bedroom's AC didn't work, so I used the smaller one. Glad we weren't 4. The AC could not be repaired, so after a week they put in a portable AC with a tube out the window. That meant the window was always open, letting in noise and warm air. I couldn't shut the shade because the tube was in the way (and no curtains). Not a viable solution. The apartment was not that clean when I arrived, and a bunch of (dirty) cleaning supplies were stored in the only long-hanging part, so I put them all in the smaller shower. At my request, the host did give me a free cleaning and it was very thorough. I would highly recommend this apartment if they fix the AC and stovetop, and hopefully find a better place to store cleaning equipment.

The communication was perfect. I greatly appreciated the responsiveness when I booked and when I checked in. The place is designed more for a family (of 4) than for two couples (which is what we were) since there is a massive inequailty in the accomodations of the rooms (bed size, bathroom size (shower literally was the size of an old phone booth), and location of the bathroom-one ensuite and the other in the hall). While some supplies were provided (dishwasher soap, for example), we had to do buy hand soap for dishes, paper towels/serviettes. Only one trash bag was provided. Biggest difficulty was that there were no instructions on how to use appliances and other electronics in the apartment and there were no instructions on the expectations when checking out (where to put trash, towels, etc.). Also, counting the towels on check-in with the guests, as if we might steal them or something, was a bit off putting when we paid a whopping amount of money to stay in the apartment and even if someone took or damaged a towel-we did not-, the cost of this stay more than covered a towel).All in all however, the apartment felt clean, safe, well maintained, close to activities, and in a fabulous neighborhood. I gave this apartment a 5 star because of cleanliness, maintenance, and booking responsiveness.
