The Beehive Inn

Nice "cabin" style accommodation at the back of the pub, ample easy parking, lovely friendly staff and a nice meal in the pub itself in the evening.

My fault (or Booking.com's for hyping things up a little too much?) but reading "Good breakfast" in the Booking.com listing, and putting that together with this being a country pub with a nice evening menu I had wrongly assumed a cracking Full English would be heading my way in the morning - rather than the basket of muffin, cereal, croissant, yoghurt and a carton of apple juice I was handed in the evening to eat perched on my bed in my room the next day. Re-reading the full description this is spelled out, so my fault I guess!

Location was very convenient

Few cobwebs knocking about and no real space to hang clothes

The convenience. Self check in and the late check out 🙃

No cupboard to put any clothing in, no space really in the room. I had the room with wheelchair access shower or disabled access. My shower had a wooden seat I had to try shower around.

Location

Bed was too soft mattress and makes you feel like your falling off due to wear on each side
