Petra Masterpiece

Such a welcoming and beautiful place! Just up the hill from the main town so it’s nice and quiet but still in walking distance. Great room and such a lovely atmosphere, the perfect place to stay to visit Petra!

I had a wonderful stay at Masterpiece Petra and can absolutely recommend it! From the very beginning, the communication was excellent , all my questions were answered quickly and kindly, and I received such a warm and welcoming reception upon arrival. The accommodation is beautifully decorated, with so much love and attention to detail. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had absolutely everything I needed. The traditional Jordanian breakfast was another highlight.

An amazing find. Only 5 rooms but each distinctly decorated. Wasfi and his family were exceptionally welcoming. It was more like a home stay than a hotel. They cooked us homemade Jordanian food on both night that were easily the best meals we had in Egypt and Jordan. Hands down. Fresh lamb dish dish on request. They had solid advice on how to best visit Petra, which was a 5 min drive. They packed us up a nice lunch to take along to Petra as we made a 7:00 am start (highly recommended as we had it to ourselves). You need car to do this place but we’re in our mid 70s and had not problem with the roads in Jordan. Also, my wife had a cold and Wasfi made up a special garlic and honey herbal treatment that worked wonders. Cannot recommend highly enough for independent travelers open to a local experience.

Maps a little wonky to find but once you know where it is it’s easy to get back.

We loved everything! Wasfi, Omar & Oud made our stay so special & unforgettable! We loved there family run hotel, it was incredibly beautiful & the peaceful abundant garden too. It felt like home away from home, deliciously home cooked traditional food was amazing. We have never experienced this level of hospitality before, they were thoughtful, kind & generous. The room was gorgeous, very clean, and very comfortable with beautiful views over the city! It really felt like a peaceful retreat, and only a short walk away to the centre and a little further for petra. If you love walking you'll easily be able to walk to petra! We definitely recommend this stay, its so special and there's nothing like it.

Nothing, it was perfect.
