Warm and comfortable in cool winter weather. Very welcoming and clean and tidy. Attractive and interesting fishing and boating decor. All of the basic essentials were provided - it was good to have two comfortable chairs. We appreciated having a plastic tub and equipment to wash the dishes in the bathroom. Centrally located but quiet and relaxing.
A bowl or dish for use in the microwave and a can opener would have been handy.

We arrived late morning with the ferry from Auckland, the owner allowed us to check in early which was very helpful as we where traveling with backpacks and it would have been uncomfortable walking round in town until 3pm. We also liked the bed, very comfortable. The location was also perfect
