Our stay at the Old Saybrook cottage was very pleasant. The surrounding area is so beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the patio having coffee and the homemade bread the hosts provided, while looking at the view. The beach is a short walk which made for enjoyable morning walks. I gave check-in less than 5 stars, only due to a temporary lack of communication. Later, the hosts visited us to ensure that everything was working out. We really appreciated that. The bedding linens and bath towels we requested were in place and very comfortable. I do suggest that someone considering staying here take a small extension cord. I travel with one and it came in handy for plugging in our phones in the bedrooms next to the bed. We hope to be able to visit the area again and would consider staying at this cottage. The hosts were delightful.

Even with clouds and rain, this cottage was the perfect spot to just relax and enjoy. I will definitely be looking to book again in the future. It’s clean and bright. Having to bring our own bedding and bath towels/cloths, was “different” but won’t be stopping future bookings.
