The holiday home is spread over two floors and is quietly located on a park-like property, just 8 km from the charming old town of Syracuse. The nearest sandy bay is only 100 m away as the crow flies (approx. 300 m on foot).
Facilities include a private tennis court (with floodlights and tennis rackets), a large lawn, and a private pool for exclusive use.
The ground floor consists of the kitchen, a laundry room with a washing machine, the living/dining room, a guest toilet. On the upper floor, there are 3 air-conditioned bedrooms (with both heating and cooling functions), 2 bathrooms (one with a shower, one with a bathtub), and a terrace on the ground floor.
For an occupancy of up to 7 people, an additional single bed will be provided in one of the upper-floor bedrooms or in the living room.

Fantastic Villa in a quiet part of Syracuse. Small beaches in walking distance. 4 or 5 decent restaurants 5-10 min walk. 15 min drive to Ortigia - would advise hiring a car if you want to travel about. There are water taxis across the bay but quite expensive. Villa hosts are lovely. Very helpful. Clean, spacious, nice pool, covered bbq area. Tennis court was great for the kids - played cricket in it all week. Definite recommendation.

A great family villa. Lively hosts, Enzo was very helpful with any queries and Sebastian brought us some lovely fruit and pastries a couple of times. Well equipt villa with all required, kitchen facilities were good, plenty of towels for all. The bathing facilities could be improved ( showers). Pool area was nice and great to have tennis court. Easy to get around with car and Enzo gave us good recommendations for visits and eating out. Several good supermarkets 10/15 mins away. Highly recommend this villa and area.

On its own the villa is amazing. The outside space is lovely. The pool, tennis and patio area were all even better than the pictures.
The villa itself is fine. You will realy only be in it to sleep.
Area wise its a bit scrappy. The beaches within walking distance although perfectly fine are small and half taken up by private hotels.
There are some restaurants within walking distance and the pizza restaurant around the bay is great.
The supermarket is about 10-15 mins in the car, as is Syracuse. Its an easy drive. There isnt really anything in walking distance. The nearest place is a 25 min walk, which is along a road with no pavement, so i wouldnt recommend this villa if you do not have a car.
Enzo who manages the relationship is very helpful and provides lot of information. There was also some food provided which was great as our flight was delayed, and we couldnt getvto the super market. So really I cannot fault the place.
However...i was pretty upset to find with 2 days before check in, that electricity is being asked as an extra. at 40 cents a unit its not cheap either. For one week this added 80 EURO to the bill. Too be honest I can see why this is done, but I believe it should be on the listing. Vrbo wont do anything about it, so buyer beware.
