It was perfect. Easy to locate. Check in and out was super simple. Cabin was in a great spot. It was very private

Check-in was easy, and friendly. Maintenance staff was nice and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the property was clean when we arrived, (although evidence of mice showed up near the end of the trip.)
However, we had eight people staying in the cabin, and there were only four kitchen chairs and one couch for seating in the living room. The deck had lots of seating, but we spent the damp or chilly evenings on camp chairs inside.
Late on day three all the toilets and showers backed up. A call to the emergency number that night got us some help - the next morning. And that was it. Fortunately, we had family members in another cabin, so we got by for the night. The maintenance man who came in the morning was VERY apologetic, and got us working again after a couple more hours. He was great.
Checking out, I actually spoke to the person I had been communicating with by email for the previous several months, and who had answered our emergency call. She asked me if our visit had been nice, "except for the plumbing issue." I told her it would have been nice to know what we were supposed to do without toilets for 12 hours, and she said: " Oh yeah, I should have told you...." I also mentioned pictures had shown twice as much seating in the main room, and she replied that she guessed the pictures were outdated.
It's amazing how one person's "who cares" attitude can leave a "sun-blocking" overall impression.
